Permit are found in the western Atlantic ocean from Massachusetts to Brazil, including most of the Caribbean islands. If encountered alone, a permit fish will scurry away, but if you happen upon a school, they may attack and bite a human! Here, our Wooden Permit swims among metal sea grass, bent with the press of the ocean current. Our Permit is hand carved and hand painted, with glass eyes.
